Literature resources

I am the author of several children’s novels and picture books.

All of my books are written from a Christian perspective. In my novels, topics such as family dysfunction, bullying and living with a disability are balanced by strong characters and action packed storylines.

Each of the novels in the Forged in Flames series are complete stand alone stories meaning they do not have to be read in any particular order. They all take place in the fictional town of Hartford and each one centres around one character in a group of friends.

These novels are ideal for a reading club in a homeschool or traditional school setting. The stories are fast paced and full of opportunities to discuss decision making, independence, friendship and a variety of other topics.

All of the books are available for purchase from the publisher Word Alive Press and at all online retailers. Word Alive Press also offers a discount for groups, ideal for homeschool co-ops, preschools and community book clubs.

Free previews of all my books are available below. Simply click on the link to be taken to a short preview of each title.

My picture books feature watercolour illustrations by Canadian artist Sara Thompson. Ideal for preschoolers, the text promotes early literacy skills. Letters in the Woods is a treasure hunt for the alphabet in the forest. Strawberry Tea shows how sharing leads to friendship for some sweet woodland creatures.
