I’m starting on the last round of edits now for my middle grade fantasy novel The Gatekeeper’s Daughter with Chicken Scratch Books. Every round focuses more and more on finer details and this one, the copy edit round, is the most detailed yet. It is finicky work at times but I want to make this story the best it can possibly be. After the editing is complete, all the rest of the book production can take place. It is very exciting to see the end in sight.
Of course, I am also working on other projects, one of which is another in The Gatekeeper’s Daughter series. And that leads me to a couple of questions. When you read series what are your favourite things about them? What are your pet peeves? I’d love to know. Tell me all about them in the comments.
Happy reading!
