My husband and I had the opportunity to present Embers to a gathering of young people from our area of Northern Ontario last night at Northern College in Porcupine. With approximately 80 youth from five groups, we had the chance to tell them about this story that God had placed on my heart for them. As I spoke I felt they needed to know we see them, we hear them and we know that their young adult years are much more complicated than anything most of us had gone through as teenagers. These beautiful, talented, passionate young people need our support to live out their faith. My prayer is that the stories in the Forged in Flames series can be an encouragement to them and a reminder of how very precious they are to God.
