Colours of Autumn

The colours of autumn are on full display and this year we enjoyed the view from the Agawa Canyon Tour Train. The train departs from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and travels through 114 miles or 183 kilometers of wilderness. Golden poplar, red maples, and dark green pine covered the hillsides and stood reflected in the waters of the lakes and rivers we passed. A beautiful way to experience the arrival of a new season.

A new season of life is also upon us as we pack up and move to the country. We are looking forward to a change of pace and a chance to become more self sufficient. Every time we are out there, working on the land that is to be our new home, I am overwhelmed by the big sky, uninterrupted by buildings and the silence broken only by the wind in the trees. I am looking forward to writing in that peace and stillness. Readers should expect to hear about a new book in the works very soon!
