Author spotlight: Beckie Lindsey

Beckie Lindsey is the author of Beauties from Ashes, a spiritual warfare suspense series which includes Secrets, Uninvited, Daybreak and Awakening. The stories focus on issues today’s youth will relate to while also revealing the battle for their souls which is taking place in the spiritual realm.

Author Ashley Jones says: “This powerful story will remind you that you do not battle against yourself or other people, but against the devil. Read it with the lights on. Then, rest peacefully, knowing that God loves you and protects you.”

Spiritual warfare is a very real and present danger. As Christians, we tend to ignore this aspect of our faith even though scripture clearly warns us about it. Ephesians 6:12 (NIV) says “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” We prefer discussing angels to demons, blessings to curses and prayers of salvation to those of deliverance because all this talk about evil makes us uncomfortable. But that doesn’t make it any less real.

Beckie Lindsey’s Beauties from Ashes series allows the reader to get a glimpse into this battle and meet the One who is the ultimate victor. It is an important topic and a timely one. Our world is in chaos and hope is a scarce and valuable commodity.
