Spiritual warfare is a very real and present danger. As Christians, we tend to ignore this aspect of our faith even though scripture clearly warns us about it. Ephesians 6:12 (NIV) says “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” We prefer discussing angels to demons, blessings to curses and prayers of salvation to those of deliverance because all this talk about evil makes us uncomfortable. But that doesn’t make it any less real.
